It’s no secret that we’re all watching more porn during lockdown. Theories about why we might be doing this range from ‘Cabin fever’ and more time on our hands to fear and lack of control during Coronavirus Anxiety.

What is interesting is the hours in which all this has changed.

For women, an increase in traffic has been reported in the early hours from midnight to 3am. Men watch at this time, but the women are watching more at this time.

Alternatively, fewer women are watching at 9am, but they increase their viewing at mid-day. Then at 1pm it drops to below average (while men show a spike at this time) and then the men drop off during the rest of the afternoon while women show an increase in the rest of the afternoon.

Then it all starts again at around 11pm.

The overall increase is not a difficult to work out as the hourly increases. One would think a lockdown wouldn’t affect what happens in a house between 11pm and 4am, but female driven traffic has revealed as much as a 55% increase at one point.

Anxiety perhaps? Can’t sleep?
